Installing Tekkit

Daddycheese offers a simple easy to use one click Tekkit installation.

To install Tekkit:

1) Select the Tekkit JAR file from the dropdown selection on the main server control page
2) Click save
3) Restart the server

Please note before installing Tekkit we suggest you take a copy of any important files as Tekkit may corrupt these. If possible it is best to completely delete all contents of the server before installing Tekkit. To wipe the contents of the server:

1) Stop the server
2) Log into the FTP file manager
3) Select all files by clicking the top box in the top left corner
4) Click delete and wait for confirmation

Tekkit installations are very fragile. We suggest you set up an automated task to back up your world daily.

Daddycheese will auto-update Tekkit to the latest version within 24 hours of a new Tekkit release. You are responsible for making world conversions if necessary.
